Liberals are trying to use Republican voters in Idaho as pawns to turn Idaho blue.
Idaho has been under attack for years, and liberals have grown desperate to get a significant win here. Prop 1 is designed to give liberals a major victory toward turning Idaho into the next Oregon or Washington.
Let’s be clear: Prop 1 has nothing to do with creating “fairness” in the primary selection process.
Prop 1 has nothing to do with Veterans, Mormon moms, or any of the other fake or liberal groups that will be used in ads on your TV, radio, and newspapers in the coming weeks. It’s all propaganda.
The point of Prop 1 is to allow Democrats or liberal Independents the ability to determine who will represent Republicans in the general election by vastly altering the primary process.
Here’s what these liberals don’t want to talk about: The turnout for the Republican primary in 2024 was 35.3%.
That means that 64.7% of registered Republicans did NOT vote in the primary. Either they were happy with the candidates running, or they didn’t care to vote and were willing to accept the results no matter how they went.
If you are a Republican and don’t like the party’s direction, change it. Encourage your fellow Republicans to follow your vision for the party. Get other people involved who are Republicans.
The beauty of living in Idaho is that Republicans have a supermajority. That’s just the way it is.
There is no requirement that we have to make Democrats and liberal Independents equal to Republicans in power in Idaho because that’s not the makeup of our population.
Republicans in California don’t demand equal power to Democrats because that’s not the makeup of their population.
Democrats in Idaho, meanwhile, are a powerless block by themselves. Outside of a couple of areas in the state, Democrats cannot win with the system we have had in place for decades.
However, with Prop 1, Democrats can continue picking their candidate for the primary since there will always be enough Democrats to get their candidates through to the general election. Under Prop 1, Democrats and liberal Independents will also be able to pick the most liberal Republican to make it through to the general election.
Then, in the general election, the Democrats will rank their candidate first, followed by the most liberal Republican they helped get through the primary. This gives Democrats a higher chance of winning, and if they can’t win, they have a really good opportunity to get a fake Republican elected.
How do Republicans who support Prop 1 not see that this is the real agenda?
The whole campaign for Prop 1 is a lie, plain and simple. This plan has been in the works for years.
I remember during the Medicaid Expansion fight years ago during a Facebook live feed from Reclaim Idaho that the main target of the liberals was the Republican Primary. They are coming for conservatives, plain and simple.
Don’t be a pawn in the left’s attempt to destroy Idaho’s conservative values.
